Hi, this addon allow create a booking to portal users from portal if these have permission.

  1. Create a portal user and activate the "Create booking from portal" option available in the user's form view. (You can also activate it from the "Give Portal Access" option in contacts.)

  2. Once you have a user with the corresponding permissions, go to the portal. There, you will see a new section called "Actions" with the option to create a booking.

  3. Inside the form, you only need to add a subject, choose the type of booking, and optionally add a description.

  4. When you continue, the booking will be created, using your contact as the requester and enabling the automatic mode for combinations.

  5. Next, a calendar will appear for you to schedule an appointment with your assigned sales representative.

Do you think porting to 16.0 is difficult to do? Are there many things that change?

Hello, my name is Francesco, and I manage corporate gyms. I'm writing because I’m interested in this. I would like some features to be implemented. I want customers to be able to book classes for the courses they attend. I would also like each class (appointment) to be bookable by multiple customers simultaneously. I'll describe what I have in mind and include the link to the service I’m currently using.

**Required Features

Autonomous Booking:**
Customers should be able to:

  • Book available classes at the locations and courses of their choice.
  • View real-time availability of spots for each class.
  • Book multiple classes (including recurring ones or from different courses) simultaneously.

Class Management:

  • Each class can be booked by multiple people, up to a maximum participant limit.
  • Classes have predefined schedules and durations.

Personal View and Management:

  • Customers should be able to view their booked classes on a personal calendar.
  • They should be able to cancel or modify a booking (subject to policies, such as a cancellation deadline).

Administration:

  • Administrators should be able to create and modify courses, classes, and schedules.
  • They should be able to manage participant limits and monitor booking rates.

Practical Example
Imagine a customer who wants to:

  • Book a yoga class on Tuesday and a pilates class on Friday in the same week.
  • Book all spinning classes every Wednesday for the following month.
  • Receive a confirmation notification for each booking made.
